Real World Search Engine Optimisation

The first thing to note is that search engines are getting a little bit smarter.
Especially Google. They are a smart bunch of folks at Google. They are always
improving their algorithms for cash creators sites. One of the things they are getting smarter about is
homing in on the pages that are truly helpful for people.

If you are searching for a page about organic gardening, Google wants to find the best page about organic gardening for you. They want to serve up the page that gives the human searcher
the best information about that topic. And mention earlier, about the spammy keyword stuffed pages that only a cyborg would understand. You don’t want that.

Increasingly, search engines are not looking favorably on pages like that. Especially
Google. Google’s getting pretty cut throat about it. And the reason is, they provide a
service. They want people to come to Google and get good out of it. The only way
to get good out of it is, to find pages that are actually helpful. So when people ask,
how do we write copy that is good for humans and good for search engines?

You can’t forget the first part. Focus on the first part first. Make your copy good for
human beings. It’s got to communicate your message. If it’s providing good
information about your topic, search engines actually like that better that just bunch
of keywords in there that sound like your talking in chant. So that’s the first thing to
keep in mind.

When people talk about copy writing, they often talk about sales pages. Most people
who create those pages aren’t really focused on SEO at all. They are getting traffic
to those pages from other sources besides search engines. So when we are talking
about web copy for the most part, when we are talking about it in SEO terms, we
are talking about other kinds of copy.

So you have a website about organic gardening and on your home page you talk a
little bit about organic gardening. You have a page with a different aspect of organic
gardening. Remember the first rule is to make the page helpful to human beings
and then you want to do what you might call SEO-affying your page. The other guys
have talked about that a little bit. I know that in lucid SEO we are going in a little
more detail about it. But here’s some examples of the things you might do to SEOaffy
your copy.

So you’ve made it useful to human beings. Then you want to inject your keyword
into the copy or just go back and make sure your keywords are in your copy in ways
that will make the search engines really like your page. So again, lets go back to
something that is not even on your page in the way most people think about it.

Your title tag. That’s copy. People won’t think about it as copy but it’s copy. Copy doesn’t
mean just the text on the middle of your page, it’s all the copy on your page.
The ALT tag in the image tag that’s copy too. But getting back to the actual stuff that the human being can read on the page.

Start with the title tags that show up in the title bar of your browser. Make sure your keywords are
in it. On your page, you will have a headline or two. You’re going to have H1 tags,
H2 tags, H3 tags, anything with an H in it. Put your keywords in there.

Then you want to make sure your keywords are in the actual text on the page, and you want
to have a healthy amount of text on the page. If you just have a few keywords on
the page, or a few words on the page that’s probably not going to cut the mustard.

What you really want is a healthy bit of text with your keywords in it in a natural way.
So if you’re trying to write human readable stuff, how do you do that? Well it’s pretty
easy, actually. Start by talking about your topic and use your keywords early and
often in your copy.

That is the rule of thumb. Early and often, just use your keywords. You don’t need to get all in a twist about keyword density and all that stuff. Just use your keywords early and often naturally. Also, something else to mention, that is becoming relevant with search engines is related keywords.

I won’t go in to too much detail, but using stuff that is related to your keywords, but not
exactly your keywords. So synonyms for your keywords. Topical stuff that relates to
your keyword. Google’s getting smarter, they are getting smarter all the time and
they are going to be moving in the direction of really trying to figure out what the
page is about.

So don’t just say, well my keyword is organic gardening. I’ll include 67 instances of
organic gardening on my page. That’s not going to do it. Include organic gardening,
a few times, 10 times, how ever many times, just a healthy number and also include
related concepts in your copy that search engines will like. If you do that, your going
to end up with copy search engines like. But your not going to fix it so human beings
will look at your page and say, “uuuggghhh! This is junk and pull away.”.

“Online Videos To Promote Your Business”

Just about every online business is now adding some sort of video
advertising to their websites. This includes software retailers,
car dealerships, travel agents, real estate agents, and even manufacturers.

Businesses are realizing that they can get the attention of a viewer
immediately with video as opposed to using a normal
advertisement to cash creators secrets.

Let’s imagine that you have a website that sells coats. A potential customer
visits your website and sees various pictures of models wearing your coats.
The prices are included, along with an ordering form.

Now imagine if you decided to add videos to your website. Instead of having
just a bunch of pictures, you have a video for each coat where a model is
wearing that coat and showing you in detail that coat’s special features.

Don’t you think that would increase your sales conversion rate?
Using Humor In Your VideosIf you are a little daring, you could always use
humor in your videos. For example, you could show an unpopular, geeky kid
who gets picked on by bullies everyday at school. He says something like
“I’m so tired of this! I’m gonna head on over to “CoatsRus” and get me a cool jacket!”

The video then shows the same geeky kid, except now it shows him with a
new jacket walking down the school hallway surrounded by hot chicks. He
glances over at the camera and calmly says “My new CoatsRus Jacket
changed my life; it can change yours, too.”

I know, I know. That sounds kinda stupid … but you get the point! It’s
entertaining, it’s funny, and it gets people attention!

As a matter of fact, the more humor you can add to your video, the more
likely people are to remember it. They may even like it so much that they
post it on their blog or email it to their friends! Then you get even more
advertising for your business … for free!

Travel Agency Videos
Travel agencies are now using videos to showcase vacation destinations for
the packages that they are currently promoting. Potential clients who watch
the videos feel as though they are taking a trip when they take this “virtual
tour”. The video takes the viewer on a mini vacation where they get to see
highlights of the local attractions, hotels, beaches, nightlife, and more … all
from the comfort of their home computer!

This virtual tour sparks the potential customer’s desire; they see themselves
on the tour and it makes them want to visit the destination! The more
someone knows about the positive aspects of a particular tour, country or
vacation spot, the more likely they are to want to book a vacation with the
travel agency to this particular destination.

Entrepreneur Videos
Entrepreneurs who have items for sale are also using online video advertising
to promote and sell their products. The best part is, thanks to YouTube it’s
quite easy and cheap to do. You see, YouTube will let upload your video for
free. You don’t have to pay them, nor do you have to pay for web hosting.
If your video is interesting, it is quite possible to get over 100K views! It’s a
pretty simple process:

1. Create a funny/creative/interesting/weird video.
2. Mention your website in your video.
3. Upload it to YouTube.
4. Enjoy the traffic!

Your Best SEO Strategy For List Building

Your Best SEO Strategy

One of the question that is often asked of SEO experts, is what is The Best SEO trick, or the best seo tactic, or the best seo tip – the fact is though there is no best trick or tactic, but there IS, I believe, a best SEO strategy to enable you to find your cash creators.

The best SEO strategy in my opinion, and experience – is a holistic white hat SEO strategy.

The dictionary definition of holistic is:
“of, concerned with, or dealing with wholes or integrated systems rather than with their parts”
Holistic SEO simply means that you work on everything, the whole system – not just parts.

Many people involved in SEO, do not work in this manner – it’s not uncommon at all to find a website that has had a lot of SEO work done in parts, but the website isn’t doing nearly as well as it should be due to very important parts being completely missed out.

It’s very common to find websites which suffer from one of the following :

Great on page & off page SEO done – but keyword research not done, as a result the website is concentrating on completely the wrong keywords, and therefore ranking for keywords which do not bring targeted traffic.

Great offpage SEO, plently of backlinks – but complete lack of relevant content
Great keyword research done, good on page SEO – but no off page SEO, no backlinks, and therefore very little traffic apart from small amounts of traffic coming from keywords which have very little competition.

The best results come from SEO when done in a holistic way – paying plenty of attention to all area’s, keyword research, on page, and off page. So to conclude, the best seo strategy is not a tactic or a trick, it is simply about paying attention to all of the important parts of SEO.

Generate Quality Leads Through Search Engine Optimization

Do you believe there is an art to generating good quality Leads?

If you are just getting started in your first home based business or have you been part of the work from home crowd for awhile, generating leads and traffic for your business such as cash creators secrets will be one of your #1 concerns. If you are like most of us, you are looking at various methods or traffic generation and you’ve likely paid for ads, leads, e-zines, banners, pay per click, you name it. You might have done your fair share of free classified ads too. How are those things working out for you?

The one thing I have noticed as I have progressed in my own experience and learning curve in the network marketing industry, is that there are lot of variations on the best way to market your business today. Some people focus primarily on classified ads and media print ads. Others focus primarily on online marketing and use banners, ads, classifieds, articles, blogs, forums, traffic generators, referral links, Pay per click, and all kinds of other things. All the these methods of advertising are excellent ways to promote a home based business and they fit various budgets in the process.

The one important thing I have learned as I have gone through my own learning curve, however, is how critical Search Engine Optimization (SEO) can be to your success. After having paid a lot of money on other methods, I developed a goal for myself and my business to generate as many leads as possible and do that for free (or next to free) without having to pay through the nose for people to view my website.

By mastering SEO and figuring out how to get content found on the search engines by spiders, it is not too difficult to begin generating tons of quality free leads without spending a dime. I know that might sound too good to be true, but believe me….it is easier than you think.

There are tons and tons of e-books, membership, and gurus out there who are more than willing to take your money and teach you a few things on optimizing your website. Trust me! Been there, done that and spent $1000′s for nothing.

learn SEO techniques without paying through the nose!

Glad you asked! I can only speak from my personal experience on this topic, but the resource I found that taught me the most about Internet Marketing and Advertising was Marketing Merge Professional. This is also known as Renegade university and it work for me because it was an easy to follow step by step system of webinars that showed me exactly how to do each step of a process. Even beginners on the computer can follow this as they are even shown how to “cut and paste”. This is an online internet marketing university where you learn how to generate leads using free Social Marketing resources such as MySpace, Facebook, Squidoo Lens, etc.

Now maybe you think you do not have time to go back to “Internet School” but you still want an effective marketing tool to get your website into the search engines. Well, I hate to break it to you, but it is going to take some effort to learn the techniques you really need to know to be successful. (Successful at generating your own leads without paying for them) I have found some additional resources that will help you develop leads and get search engine ranking until you commit yourself to the Renegade University. I will share a couple of those with you now:

Blastomatic.
This is an ad submission service that blasts 12 million ads for you which causes the search engine spiders to find your content and get you ranked in the search engines.

Blastomatic is actually part of a bigger system called the Veretekk Marketing System which gives you so much in one system you won’t need to go anywhere else. You can have SEO resources such as Blastomatic, Leadsomatic, and several Marketing Centers to use at your disposal, email, autoresponders and more. Veretekk is all about YOUR business! Believe it or not, the Veretekk system is free to use unless you choose to take advantage of the many Search Engine Optimization and Lead Generations Resources, at which time you would need to upgrade to Gold.

As a Gold subscriber you can create an unlimited number of Market Centers to promote as many products, services, and/or business opportunities you want. Every step of the Veretekk System leads you to another income stream and opportunity to assist you in funding your business as it grows.
For more information on either of the systems mentioned above, please visit http:/http://www.EZSearchEngineOptimization.blogspot.com

“Biggest Mistakes Bloggers Make”

is that they do not blog every day. I’ve have asked people do you have a blog and they answer yes.
Then I go to their blog and find out they haven’t written on the blog in months. If you don’t write on your blog every day, there is no reason for a reader to come back. And if you have no readers you will never find wealth, If you have a blog and you do not update it all the time, then you DO NOT HAVE A BLOG.

If you don’t have a writing schedule, Commit to writing. Plan to write 30 min. a day. That may not produce one post a day, that’s fine. But by writing 30 min. a day you refine your arrt, practice writing and pull together a consistent stream of useful content. Some post may take 15 min. to write. Others may take a week. It’s the steady work that matters.

The next biggest mistake that bloggers make is that they are sales people instead of writters. Too often, I see a blog and it’s is a full blown sales letter with a hard core sales pitch. Do you really think readers will continue reading your blog on a daily bases if all you are trying to do is sell them stuff? You should view your blog as if you were a writer for the Chicago Tribune, You are a journalist, a columnist and when the morning paper comes out, you have a following of readers that can’t wait to read your column to find out what you wrote about today!

If you don’t stop selling, no one wants to read a blog that does noting but hawk your own products or services. It’s like going on a really bad date where your companion constantly talks about themselves. Be yourself, you are more then just your products or services!

The next biggest mistake, bloggers flood their blog with advertisements. They read an article about making money with their blog or they read an article about adSense and all of a sudden they have all these ads all over their blogs. Distracting readers and actually offending them. The people that do this usually are the ones that make no money online. they have no traffic to their blog and they make excuses about how nothing works for them. Well. no kidding nothing works for you. Readers see this as offensive. They view you as a walking billboard and you will soon become a member of the no friends left club, or in the blogging world they call this a NRL (no readers left)

Along the same lines as the adSense blogger is the blogger that has banners all over their blog. I call this person the banner blogger. Again, this is an offensive tactic and the blogger probably doesn’t have any readers, therefore the banners will never get clicked, so why have the banners?

The last blogger mistake I see come from the link blogger, they usually don’t have adSense, and normally doesn’t have banners and writes good content. The link blogger thinks they need to put a link in the blog to drive traffic to their capture page or business opportunity, if you stop this technique your blog will explode with readers. Think of your blog as if you were reporting the evening news, they aren’t trying to sell you stuff, they are just reporting the news. And if you put a link at the bottom near your signature once a week instead of everyday, you will see huge increase in readers.

Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing

Refer to pursuing inbound traffic from major search engines. When a potential customer is online, he or she may type a search phrase into a search engine, such as Google.

The search phrase, also known as keyword or key phrase, then brings up a list of websites that are most apt to have credible content related to the key phrase that the potential customer has searched for.

The websites in the top positions on the search page (SERP) will yield the best returns. Simply put, search engine optimization is the process of bringing prospective customers to your website.

The primary goal of any search engine optimization is to ensure that your website is listed at or near the top of the search engine results for the corresponding relevant and specific search term or query.

Successful search engine marketing requires a team of specialists with strong skills in the areas of analysis, research, planning, copy writing and communication.

The team from Expert Website Services uses a widely accepted four-stage process. These interconnected stages are:

1) Preliminary Analysis The preliminary analysis phase always involves exhaustive research and competitive analysis. A good search engine team will start the SEO process with the website goals in mind and look at what the competition is doing to achieve excellent rankings.

It is imperative that these activities are completed before any changes are made to an existing site; and, before a new website is built. Strategic planning is also conducted during this phase. The SEO team must have a good understanding of the company’s goals in order to properly develop an online business strategy.

The outcome of this phase of optimization is market research, competitive analysis, and the final selection of keywords based on thorough and thoughtful analysis.
2) Physical Optimization (Search Engine Optimization) The optimization stage, also referred to as the on-site process, includes developing and implementing search engine friendly content and attractive design.

Since a great deal of copy is written during this phase, it is a good idea to have a professional team of copy writers. During this phase, content is created (written) for the body of the page, the title meta tags, and the alt image tags.

Copy that is not congruent with the page tags will surely end in disaster. Therefore, current knowledge of the major search engine algorithms is imperative for successful completion of this phase. This phase also considers the infrastructure of the website.

Often, it is necessary to change the internal link structure of a site to allow for easy indexing by search engines. If a search engine crawler cannot easily find the information required to obtain the desired rankings, the campaign will surely fail. Thus, the key component to this phase is to simplify navigation for the search engines and to make sure the content is relevant to the keywords chosen.

3) Off-Site Optimization (Search Engine Marketing) Off-site search engine marketing is an important component for launching a successful Internet marketing campaign. A great deal of time and effort is spent building quality, credible, inbound links to the target website.

This is usually achieved through a combination of directory submissions, blog creation and posting, article submissions, marketing via social media (such as Facebook), link building, and finally search engine submissions.

In the most aggressive campaigns, the majority of time is spent in this phase. This phase is also referred to as ongoing SEO since time dedicated to building quality inbound links will ultimately result in increased traffic.
