List Building Secret #1 – Make Your Content Relevant Keeps Your Subscribers Happy And Boosts The Amount Of People Who Will Recommend Your Newsletter To Their Friends.

One of the biggest problems I see newsletter and ezine publishers having online is that they write about subjects no one in their market is interested in. They just write about whatever they think people want to know about without doing any of the research, which is a huge no no.

Another problem is, publishers who have a market well defined don’t then write the content in their newsletters that interests their readers. There is no use having an ezine on coin collecting and running articles on stamp collecting just because you couldn’t be bothered finding the right content for your Robscashcreators e zine.

This is easily overcome. Just send out an email asking your readers what they want to read. Also sign up for other ezines in your market and see what they are writing about.

List Building Secret #2 – Add More Subscription Boxes To Your Website

Sounds simple enough, but few people actually do it. If you have a 100 page website, you should have 100 newsletters subscribe boxes on your website.

You can integrate a subscribe box just about anywhere in a website. You could add one just before an article starts, in the middle of an article or even at the end of the article.

As long as you have good content on your website, you won’t have a problem getting people to subscribe to your newsletter.

An interesting way to do this for a content site is as follows.

Have a look at this website and see what he does to get subscribers, it’s very clever.

List Building Secret #3 -  Offer An Outstanding Bonus Or Gift

I’ve had a problem in the past with offering freebies to get people to subscribe to your newsletter, but I also know it can work well, if done properly.

Why do I have a problem with it? Well I really want subscribers to be signing up for my newsletter because they want my newsletter not because they want the freebie I’m offering.

The best way to offer a freebie is to create one yourself and not something you have reprint rights to with 500 other people. You want it to be unique, and you want it to be something that plugs your newsletter heavily.

Do you know what makes a good bonus? Back issues of your newsletter!

List Building Secret #4 – Use Free Viral Ebooks To Get New Subscribers

Want to get thousands of new subscribers for your ezine without spending a cent on advertising and you’ve tried all the methods above but you still want more? Viral marketing is the way to go! Writing viral ebooks that get passed around.

Writing viral books is nothing new, but it’s still a great way to get your newsletter noticed.

There are a few methods you can use when creating viral ebooks.

You can either create them as a free product, or charge for them and give people the reprint rights to the product so they in turn can give your product away while making some money in the process.

I prefer the reprint right route. The key here is tho, once the momentum of the first book wears out, write another and another and another and another! All in the same method, all with reprint rights and all with your newsletter subscribe from plastered in them.

The goal really isn’t to make money from the sales of the book, it’s to get more subscribers.

So again, find a group of publishers in your markets, let them know you created a new ebook with sales letter that they can use and plug straight into their website and give them a mailing promotion to use and tell them they can have the book for free and that they can either sell the book or the book and the reprint rights to their customers.

This is easy money for them and more subscribers for you!

Doing audio interviews with experts in your field also is a great idea to get more subscribers. I’m not going to get into how to create audio products as that’s a whole other book, but interviewing experts over the phone and recording it on mp3 will get your newsletter splashed all over the Internet, especially in fields other then Internet marketing where people don’t expect to get this much quality information for free

When you take marketing tactics from the Internet marketing field and apply them into other niche markets where they have never been seen before, you will get noticed more. Everything has been done in the Internet marketing field, we are all  immune to even the most brilliant marketing tactics as we see them almost everyday, but other niche markets eat these things up.

Creating audio interviews isn’t hard at all equipment wise and finding experts to interview is a piece of cake. Do you know how I find experts in any field almost instantly?

Well most FAQ pages at FAQS.Org/faq/ have who its written by and an email address for them. These guys are obviously knowledgeable in their fields, and they would make great experts to interview.

Tell them you want to interview them because you’ve read information they’ve written and it was great and you think your subscribers would appreciate the information. Most will do this without charging you a cent if you are outside the marketing field, they will just get a thrill out of being interviewed.

Once you have these interviews, tell all the publishers you’ve been in contact with recently that you have this great set of mp3’s just completed and you want to offer them for free to their lists.

Setup a section on your website with the download link to these mp3’s and also put a subscribe form near them for your newsletter and you will be surprised how many people will sign up AFTER they listen to your mp3s. Don’t make is so these people have to sign up for your newsletter before they get the mp3s.

List Building Secret #5 – Use Pop Up Windows

Pop up windows are still effective ways to get subscribers, especially in niche markets. Creating popups on your website is as easy as pie. There are however a few different type of popup windows you can use.

The pop up window on exit, which pops up after you leave a website and the popup window on entry which obviously pops up when you first go to a website. I prefer the exit popup. So when someone leaves  a page on your website they get a popup window asking them to subscribe to your newsletter.

This can get annoying so what you want to do is use a popup that allows you to tell if a persons already seen your popup before so it won’t keep showing.

You can find these sort of popup scripts at….. http://www.nowsell.com/pop-ups/exit-popup-scripts.html

Or if you want a piece of software to do it for you, check out http://www.dynamic-popup-generator.com/gindex.htm

The formula for a successful money finder home based business is dedication and smart searching. Get your eye on the goal and don’t stray until you finally reach the finish line don’t ever give up!!!

The Importance of Backlinking

************************************************************************

Please visit our tips page for making money on line.

************************************************************************
If you’ve read anything about or studied Search Engine Optimization, you’ve come across the term “backlink” at least once. For those of you new to SEO, you may be wondering what a backlink is, and why they are important. Backlinks have become so important to the scope of Search Engine Optimization, that they have become some of the main building blocks to good SEO. In this article, we at Robs Cash Creators will explain to you what a backlink is, why they are important, and what you can do to help gain them while avoiding getting into trouble with the Search Engines.

What are “backlinks”? Backlinks are links that are directed towards your website. Also knows as Inbound links (IBL’s). The number of backlinks is an indication of the popularity or importance of that website. Backlinks are important for SEO because some search engines, especially Google, will give more credit to websites that have a good number of quality backlinks, and consider those websites more relevant than others in their results pages for a search query.

A search engine considers the content of the sites to determine the QUALITY of a link. When inbound links to your site come from other sites, and those sites have content related to your site, these inbound links are considered more relevant to your site. If inbound links are found on sites with unrelated content, they are considered less relevant. The higher the relevance of inbound links, the greater their quality.

For example, if a webmaster has a website about how to rescue orphaned kittens, and received a backlink from another website about kittens, then that would be more relevant in a search engine’s assessment than say a link from a site about car racing. The more relevant the site is that is linking back to your website, the better the quality of the backlink.

Another reason to achieve quality backlinks is to entice visitors to come to your website. You can’t build a website, and then expect that people will find your website without pointing the way. You will probably have to get the word out there about your site. One way webmasters got the word out used to be through reciprocal linking. Let’s talk about reciprocal linking for a moment.

There is much discussion in these last few months about reciprocal linking. In the last Google update, reciprocal links were one of the targets of the search engine’s latest filter. Many webmasters had agreed upon reciprocal link exchanges, in order to boost their site’s rankings with the sheer number of inbound links. In a link exchange, one webmaster places a link on his website that points to another webmasters website, and vice versa. Many of these links were simply not relevant, and were just discounted. So while the irrelevant inbound link was ignored, the outbound links still got counted, diluting the relevancy score of many websites. This caused a great many websites to drop off the Google map.

Many webmasters have more than one website.
Sometimes these websites are related, sometimes they are not. You have to also be careful about interlinking multiple websites on the same IP. If you own seven related websites, then a link to each of those websites on a page could hurt you, as it may look like to a search engine that you are trying to do something fishy. Many webmasters have tried to manipulate backlinks in this way; and too many links to sites with the same IP address is referred to as backlink bombing.

There are a few things to consider when beginning your backlink building campaign. It is helpful to keep track of your backlinks, to know which sites are linking back to you, and how the anchor text of the backlink incorporates keywords relating to your site. A tool to help you keep track of your backlinks is the Domain Stats Tool. This tool displays the backlinks of a domain in Google, Yahoo, and MSN. It will also tell you a few other details about your website, like your listings in the Open Directory, or DMOZ, from which Google regards backlinks highly important; Alexa traffic rank, and how many pages from your site that have been indexed, to name just a few.

Building quality backlinks is extremely important to Search Engine Optimization,
and because of their importance, it should be very high on your priority list in your SEO efforts. We hope you have a better understanding of why you need good quality inbound links to your site, and have a handle on a few helpful tools to gain those links.

Take some time now and THINK about it! Then? JUST DO IT!

Importance of Sitemaps

************************************************************************

To Make Money From Home Click Here!

************************************************************************

There are many SEO tips and tricks that help in optimizing a site but one of those, the importance of which is sometimes underestimated is sitemaps.

Sitemaps, as the name implies, are just a map of your site – i.e. on one single page you show the structure of your site, its sections, the links between them, etc. Sitemaps make navigating your site easier and having an updated sitemap on your site is good both for your users and for search engines.

Sitemaps are an important way of communication with search engines. While in robots.txt you tell search engines which parts of your site to exclude from indexing, in your site map you tell search engines where you’d like them to go like to RobsCashCreators.

Sitemaps are not a novelty. They have always been part of best Web design practices but with the adoption of sitemaps by search engines, now they become even more important. However, it is necessary to make a clarification that if you are interested in sitemaps mainly from a SEO point of view, you can’t go on with the conventional sitemap only (though currently Yahoo! and MSN still keep to the standard html format). For instance, Google Sitemaps uses a special (XML) format that is different from the ordinary html sitemap for human visitors.

One might ask why two sitemaps are necessary. The answer is obvious – one is for humans, the other is for spiders (for now mainly Googlebot but it is reasonable to expect that other crawlers will join the club shortly). In that relation it is necessary to clarify that having two sitemaps is not regarded as duplicate content. In ‘Introduction to Sitemaps’, Google explicitly states that using a sitemap will never lead to penalty for your site.

Why Use a Sitemap
Using sitemaps has many benefits, not only easier navigation and better visibility by search engines. Sitemaps offer the opportunity to inform search engines immediately about any changes on your site. Of course, you cannot expect that search engines will rush right away to index your changed pages but certainly the changes will be indexed faster, compared to when you don’t have a sitemap.

Also, when you have a sitemap and submit it to the search engines,
you rely less on external links that will bring search engines to your site. Sitemaps can even help with messy internal links – for instance if you by accident have broken internal links or orphaned pages that cannot be reached in other way (though there is no doubt that it is much better to fix your errors than rely on a sitemap).

If your site is new, or if you have a significant number of new (or recently updated pages),
then using a sitemap can be vital to your success. Although you can still go without a sitemap, it is likely that soon sitemaps will become the standard way of submitting a site to search engines. Though it is certain that spiders will continue to index the Web and sitemaps will not make the standard crawling procedures obsolete, it is logical to say that the importance of sitemaps will continue to increase.

Sitemaps also help in classifying your site content, though search engines are by no means obliged to classify a page as belonging to a particular category or as matching a particular keyword only because you have told them so.

Having in mind that the sitemap programs of major search engines (and especially Google) are still in beta, using a sitemap might not generate huge advantages right away but as search engines improve their sitemap indexing algorithms, it is expected that more and more sites will be indexed fast via sitemaps.

Generating and Submitting the Sitemap

The steps you need to perform in order to have a sitemap for your site are simple. First, you need to generate it, then you upload it to your site, and finally you notify Google about it.

Depending on your technical skills, there are two ways to generate a sitemap
– to download and install a sitemap generator or to use an online sitemap generation tool. The first is more difficult but you have more control over the output. You can download the Google sitemap generator from Google. After you download the package, follow the installation and configuration instructions in it.

The second way to generate a sitemap is easier.
There are many free online tools that can do the job for you. For instance, have a look at this collection of Third-party Sitemap tools. Although Google says explicitly that it has neither tested, nor verified them, this list will be useful because it includes links to online generators, downloadable sitemap generators, sitemap plugins for popular content-management systems, etc., so you will be able to find exactly what you need.

After you have created the sitemap,
you need to upload it to your site (if it is not already there) and notify Google about its existence. Notifying Google includes adding the site to your Google Sitemaps account, so if you do not have an account with Google, it is high time to open one. Another detail that is useful to know in advance is that in order to add the sitemap to your account, you need to verify that you are the legitimate owner of the site.

Currently Yahoo! and MSN do not support sitemaps,
or at least not in the XML format, used by Google. Yahoo! allows webmasters to submit “a text file with a list of URLs” (which can actually be a stripped-down version of a site map), while MSN does not offer even that but there are rumors that it is indexing sitemaps when they are available onsite. Most likely this situation will change in the near future and both Yahoo! and MSN will catch with Google because user-submitted site maps are just a too powerful SEO tool and cannot be ignored.

Take some time now and THINK about it! Then? JUST DO IT!

Dan’s Business Failings And Success

************************************************************************

To Make Money From Home Click Here!

************************************************************************

A Very Special Merry Christmas To All,

This article is written by my friend Dan, who lives in Toukley, Australia

You know, I was thinking the other day about my failed businesses… and believe me, there have been a lot of them, and I wanted to share what I’ve learned here on RobsCashCreators.com.

If you can’t watch the video for any reason, please read on. So basically, I was thinking back about all the many businesses that I had started and failed. To name just a few, I have been a mortgage broker, forex trader, share trader, property advocate, car importer, selling stuff on eBay… to name just a few.

Anyway, the truth is that most of these businesses failed. Now I’ve never been scared of failure… I’ve always had the attitude of “get up, dust yourself off, learn the lesson and move on”. For the most part, this is a good thing. It’s important not to stay down… but it’s not what i am talking about today.

When I was thinking back at these the other day, what caught my attention was that of all my failed businesses, there was only really 1 that worried me. In fact, it devastated me. With all my other failings, I just picked myself up, dusted myself off and moved on… but my most recent failing really ripped my heart out. This got me thinking “why” and “what advise can I give so people can avoid that”.

Here is what I came up with. I want you to imagine a swimmer that is training for the Olympics. This guy is waking up at 4.00am every morning without fail, sun hail or shine, to go and swim a few hundred laps before work. Then after work, absolutely exhausted, he goes back to the pool to swim a few more hundred laps. This happens everyday for 4 years, until he is finally ready to try out for the Olympics.

Now our guy is 29… this is really his last shot, if he misses it, he will be too old by the time the next Olympics roll around. He is up on the block… “take your marks”… oh now, he has slipped in…. false start… disqualified. His Olympic dreams are shattered.

Now let me ask you this… is this guy shattered? Well of course he is. So what about this… how could he have prepared himself such that he wouldn’t be shattered in this event. Well I don’t know about you, but I can only think of 1 way… and that was not to have worked so hard to get there in the first place. Of course, if he didn’t work so hard, he could never possibly actually achieve his goal…. but he wouldn’t be shattered.

Hopefully you are starting to see the point. Our swimmer is shattered because they gave their heart and soul to the goal… and if you do that, there is no way to avoid that feeling of devastation in the event of failure. So while I started this thought process trying to help you avoid it… now I want you to embrace it. I am going to go so far as to say if you have failed and it did not hurt bad… you did not try hard enough.

Don’t let this worry you… it happens to the best of us…. just be aware of it, and make sure you put your heart and soul into the next venture… because if you don’t, there is no way you can achieve your goal.

Don’t be scared to fail and fall hard. Will it hurt? Absolutely, but it’s better than the alternative, and that is a life of mediocrity. No one ever looked back on their death bed and though “I failed too many times”… to have tried a bunch of stuff and fail is something to be proud of… the only regrets people have on their death beds are to not have tried enough.

OK, that’s it from me… play with passion. I’ll speak to you next week.

ake some time now and THINK about it! Then? JUST DO IT!

The Real Estate Industry Vs. Online Marketing Business

Before we start with the doom and gloom let’s be clear on one thing—real estate has been and always will be a solid career. By its very definition, a cash creator while real property is a finite resource and cannot be manufactured—supply cannot be increased—to meet increased demand. So from a macroeconomic perspective, there will always be a real estate industry, since people will always seek to own real property.

That’s just great if you an economist, but if you earn your living on the front lines of real estate, the numbers tell a different story. The slump in the industry today is as bad as it’s been in recent memory. The glut of available inventory has driven—and is still driving—prices down.

The subprime meltdown has created a desperately restricted credit environment where only those with impeccable credit and rock solid incomes can get a loan. These folks, on the other hand, are hesitant to buy because of the uncertainties in the economy. Worried about potentially losing their jobs—and their ability to pay—they are waiting on the sidelines for things to improve. As are the brokers, the builders, the bankers, the building suppliers, and anyone else who is trying to make a living from real estate. The question becomes, how long can you wait?

Although reluctant to throw away years of experience and training, many real estate pros are looking at other careers. This of course is a huge decision with important, long-term ramifications, right up there with making the biggest investment decision of your life—buying a home. Difficult or not, when it comes down to paying the bills—indeed, buying groceries—it’s a decision that needs to be made.

The fundamental problem with the real estate business today is that it is cyclical, and clearly not recession proof. This is why many real estate pros are turning to network marketing, a completely recession proof industry. A Realtor understands how to prospect and find leads—both buyers and sellers. They routinely structure complex transactions, and understand how to move a deal through the pipeline. Most importantly, they know how to close. All of these skills can be leveraged in an online marketing business.

Online marketers today are earning extraordinary incomes—from the comfort of their homes—as people everywhere turn to the internet. A global marketplace of over a billion people uses the internet for communication, research, education, shopping and entertainment. Find a hungry market for a product or service to be sold online, and you create perpetual financial security. If you are at a crossroads in your career, it’s clearly time to think about working online.
